The primary characteristic is that movements and captures with checkers occur horizontally and vertically, rather than diagonally, as is common in most well-known varieties of checkers. Therefore, the starting formation of checkers varies. On a 64-square board, adversaries position their 16 checkers on every square of the second and third rows. The game can be played against artificial intelligence, with another individual on a single device, or with an opponent online in multiplayer mode. Additionally, you can observe other players compete, serve as a spectator, or propose your own choice for the next move to the player by executing it on the board.
